LRAFB Training Center Remodel

This project was produced while working for another company, AECOM/HDMS. The Remodelled building underwent a total renovation in the aftermath of a  tornado storm. The building redesign, B350 at the Little Rock Air Force Base, was managed from its inception design throught to the complete architectural construction document package, while managing and coordinating a full team of civil, structural and HVAC, FPE, geotechnical, asbestos and lead abatement, as well as LEED consultants. The project scope encompassed fully renovating a tornado damaged classroom training facility with the result of  a near complete overhaul of the building, interior walls being entirely gutted and followed up with all its support systems from structural thru HVAC replaced, costing onwards of $2.5 million dollars, and completed in 2013

The extent and scope of work is seen in the "before and after" photographs. This remodel guidelines followed the DOD standards and UFC facility upgrade requirements including Anti-Terrorism compliant window and reinforced openings in the support structural upgrade.
